MORE THAN A BAND

We found our way back.
Then we found the volume.

Sons of Jericho began in 2025 when six men from across the UK came together through recovery — and discovered that making music was another way to feel alive.

We’re former residents, friends and musicians with one shared belief: recovery doesn’t make your world smaller. It makes dreams possible. Every gig is proof.

02 — Meet the band

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE NOISE

Six musicians.
One vital engineer.

Every one of us has been a resident of Jericho House at some point. With its support and guidance, we rebuilt our lives — and together, we built this band.

Frontman · Founding member

Sean Payne

One of the band’s creators and a stand-up comedian when he isn’t on stage. Sean works at the Falcon Centre, supporting vulnerable people.

Lead guitar · Songwriter · Founder

Matt Kill

Matt and Sean turned a long-held dream into ‘a jam’ with like-minded people. He works at Jericho House, helping men discover what recovery gave him.

Rhythm guitar · Vocals · Songwriter · Founding member

Neil Ainslie

A founding member of Sons of Jericho, Neil quickly bought into the idea of ‘a jam’ — and the rest is history. Away from the band, he is CEO of the Living Recovery Foundation’s Jericho House.

Drums

Jake Lindsay

Jake came for the banter, was talked into keyboards, then became the drummer after asking for a go. Self-taught, he works at the Falcon Centre and Jericho House.

Lead vocals

Tom Kenyon

Tom shares lead vocals with Sean and brings huge energy and enthusiasm to every stage. He supports vulnerable children at Safe and Sound and also works at Jericho House.

Bass

Charlie Poole

Our self-taught bassist. Charlie works with Derby City Council’s Livewell programme, supporting vulnerable people across Derby.

Sound engineer

Jamie Allen

A music and arts lover, Jamie is our eyes and ears on and off stage — and a genuine lifesaver behind the desk. He also works at Jericho House.
